During Hong Kong Arbitration Week, Dr. William Wong, S.C. from Des Voeux Chambers was invited to deliver a keynote speech at the HKAW China Session. He presented a forward-looking insight on how to resolve non-foreign related disputes under PRC law submitted to Hong Kong arbitration.
Mr Ing Loong Yang, Council Member of HKIAC delivered the Welcome Remarks, followed by the panel discussion moderated by Dr Ling YANG FCIArb, Deputy Secretary General of HKIAC. Dr Vincent Mu from Llinks Law Offices and Mr Jern-Fei Ng KC from Temple Chambers and Duxton Hill Chambers (Singapore Group Practice) joined as panel.
In the Guest Review session, Dr. Yanli Si, Deputy Director of the Supreme People’s Court’s Research Office emphasised the importance of policymakers taking into account both the benefits and the potential obstacles of a proposed policy.
