The Jiangsu Lawyers Association and Nanjing Arbitration Commission successfully co-hosted an event titled “International Commercial Arbitration Workshop & Training Camp for Young Lawyers Practising in Foreign-related Legal Affairs” in Nanjing on 19-22 September.
Cherry Xu from Des Voeux Chambers was invited as a guest speaker to share Interim Proceedings in International Arbitration. Cherry presented a comprehensive overview of the arbitration process, which included considerations prior to the dispute, interim measures, witness preparation, and cross-examination techniques. Participants gained valuable theoretical insight and practical guidance from her comprehensive presentation complemented by extensive case studies and empirical research.
The event was well attended by 110 mainland arbitration professionals from Jiangsu Province.
