The 8th International Bar Association (IBA) Asia Pacific Regional Forum Biennial Conference, themed “Vibrant Asia – Land of opportunity and promise”, will take place from 19 to 21 February 2025 at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. An extensive range of key legal fields closely related to Asia Pacific will be covered by this biennial conference, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, arbitration, insolvency, intellectual property, data security, employment law, competition law, construction law, and capital markets.
Winnie Tam SC, also Conference Co-Chair and Secretary of IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum, will deliver the Opening remarks on 20 February, followed by the Keynote address by the Honourable Chief Justice Andrew Cheung Kui-nung, GBM. The Conference dinner will be held at 6:30 PM at the Four Seasons Hong Kong, with esteemed guests including the Secretary for Justice of the Hong Kong SAR, Mr. Paul Lam Ting-kwok, SBS, SC, JP.
