Des Voeux Chambers had the pleasure of hosting a visit and seminar for a training course for a delegation of arbitration lawyers jointly organised by the Ministry of Justice of China and the Hong Kong International Legal Talents Training Academy (HKITTLA) under the Department of Justice of Hong Kong.
The delegation comprised in-house counsel from State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), esteemed arbitrators and arbitration lawyers hand-picked by the Ministry of Justice, and Mainland lawyers’ associations.
Winnie Tam SC, William Wong, S.C., Jenkin Suen SC and Frances Lok SC led a lively panel discussion with the delegation, tackling key issues faced by mainland enterprises in international arbitration.
