Des Voeux Chambers celebrated its 40th anniversary with a drinks reception at Cardinal Point.
We were deeply honoured by the presence of the Hon. Chief Justice Andrew CHEUNG, GBM, and Mr. Horace CHEUNG, SBS, JP, Deputy Secretary for Justice, and over 330 guests at this milestone event.
In her welcome remarks, Winnie Tam SC reflected on DVC’s remarkable journey since its founding in 1984 by three members including Neil Kaplan, CBE, KC, SBS. DVC has now grown to 103 members, including 25 silks and 44 barristers under 10 years. Winnie highlighted key milestones and achievements that have shaped DVC, emphasizing the enduring commitment to excellence that defines Chambers today.
Heartfelt gratitude was expressed to all members, past and present, for their dedication to this thriving community, and the distinguished guests for their ongoing support and trust in DVC.
