Patrick Siu's article on the  "Appointment of joint and several liquidators in Hong Kong" has been included in the latest edition of the Law Quarterly Review (L.Q.R. 2020, 136(Jul), 375-379).  In the article, he advocates for legislative reforms to clarify the legal basis for appointing joint and several liquidators in Hong Kong.  Click here to read more

DVC’s Head joins the Appointments Committee of the HKIAC - one of the engines behind the HKIAC’s Case Administration

DVC's Head of Chambers, Winnie Tam SC, JP, has been appointed to one of two key decision-making bodies of the HKIAC. She joins the Appointments Committee which instrumentally appoints and confirms arbitrators, decides the number of arbitrators and determines applications to HKIAC’s Panels and List of Arbitrators.  The Standing Committee makes seminal decisions in cases under the HKIAC’s auspices under the authorisation of HKIAC’s Council.  Click here to read more
