Several members are qualified in other jurisdictions such as England, the People's Republic of China (Mainland), the United States, Australia, Singapore and the British Virgin Islands. Some members also regularly conduct international arbitration in overseas jurisdictions, including Europe, Asia, Middle East and the United States. In addition to litigation and arbitration, members are regularly instructed to advise on questions of Hong Kong law, with a view of assisting foreign proceedings. Members have appeared in foreign Courts, both as advocate and as expert witness on questions of Hong Kong law. A number of our members also act as Hong Kong Law Consultants to law firms in Mainland PRC, pursuant to the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA) and rules as promulgated by the Ministry of Justice of the PRC.
